Town of Marcus Mission Statement
The Town of Marcus is dedicated to providing progressive, effective government while advancing a people-friendly, rural atmosphere of safe and healthy neighborhoods.  We draw our inspiration from the lessons of the past and honor our heritage while balancing time-honored values with progress and responsible growth.  Our Citizens and our leaders are committed to maintaining our town's vitality with the aid of community involvement and volunteerism.

The Town of Marcus was established as a territorial town as early as 1824 and was incorporated in October, 1910.  It was raised to higher ground in 1938 and is alive and well.

Marcus celebrated its official 100th birthday at the Marcus Cider Fest in October, 2010.
